What Is DACA

To be eligible for DACA, you must have come to the U.S. before age 16. You must have resided in the U.S. on June 15, 2007.
You must also have been present in this country on June 15, 2012. Another criterion is that you must have been under the age of 31 before June 15, 2012.
Furthermore, you must currently be a student in school. If you have a high school diploma or GED, you might still qualify. The same goes for individuals who were honorably discharged from the military.
If you committed a felony or another serious crime, you don’t qualify for DACA. You’re also excluded if you pose a threat to the country’s safety.
