Is your neck and back hurting?

Pain is something that comes with age or from doing things in the wrong way. Most people today spend a lot of time sitting down. Its not really what the human body was designed for. Which leads to a lot of pain in neck, back, arms, shoulders and even legs. There are a lot of things you can do to become more painfree. Especially if you work in front of a computer all the time. There are many other things you can do to reduce the pain:

  • Move around at least once an hour.
  • Walk to work and back.
  • Make sure that you are sitting ergonomically.

By making sure that you are sitting in front of the computer in the best way, you can reduce the pain a lot. Move around a bit, at least once an over. Move you arms and shoulders to get the blood flow going again and walk a bit.

Take breaks and move about

The most common reason for pain in neck and back is sitting in front of the computer. Then when you get home you sit in front of the tv. There is a lot of sitting going around and it always leads to problems with shoulder, neck and back. So, instead of spending all your time sitting, start moving around a bit. Walk to and from work, this will make a bigger difference than you can believe. Start doing some exercise at home or start going to the gym. Do some basic work out once in a while and notice the difference.

Make your workplace more ergonomically

By making sure that you have a good chair, that the screen is at the right distance and height from you, a lot of problems will go away. Make sure that you don’t spend to much time in front of your computer and spend some time walking and moving about. These things can do wonders for your back, neck and shoulders. They where not meant to be locked in one position for several hours every day. Instead, they were meant to be used and if you don’t move them once in a while, they will cause you pain. Don’t mask the problem but deal with the root of it

If you have pain from sitting in front of the computer too much, don’t mask the pain. Deal with it and start doing things that will reduce it naturally. Many starts taking mild painkillers to manage the pain, this is not something you should be doing. It can lead to problems down the road, and they don’t solve the pain, they just mask it.

Make sure that you start moving about and doing some basic work out after work. This will reduce your pain and in the end might even remove it completely.
